SAP Business Technology Platform

We are using HANA cloud to store some of our ERP transactional data & product quality testing data. We do some data modelling and finally use Fiori apps for business users to consume the data. the app is primarily used to generate quality certificates for the products shipped from our plants to customers.

We use it for Fiori Development and Integration Suite and HANA DB. We aim to use it also for AI Lunchpad. So, it addresses the user interface problem with FIORI. It also allows connectivity with Success SF and even with our outside partner. We also use it to replace PI. We also use Event Mesh.

Mostly for new implementations and to adapt clean core strategy we recommend it to all the customers. With BTP its so much easy to have a clean error free stable central system and number of services make it really easy to use them for different purposes.

We use the below functions in SAP BTP, and it is helping us to implement standard SAP solutions of "Fixed Asset Transfer Approval" using "SAP Build Process Automation." After considering many other solutions, we finally implemented it via using "SAP Build Process Automation" because the implementation time is very long, and we also get standard SAP reports to analyze various Assets related reports.

We use various SAP Business Technology Platform services for internal business processes as well as for customer use cases. These, for example, include custom developments in RAP or CAP.

We use SAP BTP to build new applications. Our productive use case is using the Customer Portal service to design a portal for technicians. We are also using it to explore new innovation from SAP such as AI, OCR, Machine Learning and more. We have 2 main approaches; productive and exploration on 2 different BTP accounts.

We use it for * SAP Build * SAP Cloud ALM * SAP Process Automation * SAP Workzone * SAP Identity Access Services * SAP Multibank Connectivity * SAP integration Suite + Event Mesh We are moving from Oracle EBS to S/4HANA PCE. We have a large amount of to-be-integrated products (SuccessFactors, Ariba, OpenText Document Management for SF and VIM, and 30+ non-SAP IT products). The Integration Suite is really good, and compared to the competitors, it is really surprising to see how the pricing works. Even the out-of-the-box connection capabilities are unreal.

In our company, we use business technology platforms to experiment with new features and advise customers. We mainly use the SAP Business Technology Platform for integrations with SAP C4C and e-document invoices. We use SAP Intelligent Robotic Process Automation to automate purchase order approval based on rules and criteria. We can reduce manual work, errors, and delays, and improve compliance and efficiency. We can also leverage SAP Conversational AI to create a chatbot that can handle common queries and requests from suppliers and buyers. We use SAP Integration Suite and SAP Extension Suite to connect and extend our SAP and non-SAP applications and data across different environments. A problem we often run into is the late release of some integrations like government law requirements. Often the integration is released close to the legal deadline, giving little time for the configuration phase. We use also other cloud platform integration systems like Power Automate to integrate Microsoft Suite integrations. Like SAP which fits well with SAP products, other platforms fit well with its solutions. Maybe a better non-SAP pre-build integration could be the key to using the SAP Business Technology Platform with products or companies that do not directly use SAP ERP or similar products.

In anticipation of our S/4 migration we selected BTP to create custom applications and robust out of the box integrations for our Travel Retail business.

We used the SAP BTP in an experimental feature as a part of our in house weeklong hackathon to build an intelligent chatbot.We saw that it has a nice, user-friendly user interface and the conversational AI service is pretty good. We planned to use it to develop the tools and technology that enable personalized conversational experiences for Intuit products. Our purpose was to build an conversational AI bot, which would have NLP and Knowledge engine and would give the user steps to perform certain tasks.
We planned to use this in one of Intuit's core product, Quickbooks.
For example, when asked, "Add new user" the bot would list all the steps needed to create an account for a new user.

We have developed cloud solution to archive SAP data and upload it on blob storage as a file , I deploy my product in SAP business technology platform using cloud foundry, I have also used various services in my application provided by BTP

I was using SAP Business Technology Platform for one of the big 4 companies, which was my client. SAP Business Technology Platform was used as database management tool and analytics to which they were migrating from their legacy system. We used HANA, CRM applications, SD Applications, Time and Expense module, and Finance and controlling modules.
I was aligned with the integration team, where we were trying to implement the SAP products into the company's ERP system, and we were also converting the entire company's legacy system based on SAP Business Technology Platform globally.
By using the SAP Business Technology Platform, we were actually shifting from on-prem systems to cloud-based systems which made data pretty much controllable globally, and the maintenance of the physical system at office data centers has reduced.

We loved how SAP brought in multiple new services to SAP Business Technology Platform. Especially CAP-related stuff and SAP HANA cloud. However, some services like SAP Event mesh, SAP CI/CD feel like they need more maturity, like the ability to move the code that is hosted on the backend server, too, not only on the cloud. As the backend server (GW) is also SAP, it would be great if people could push the code and move like we do when we host on cloud foundry. Event mesh availability should be in more places rather than just in one zone. We would really appreciate it if SAP gives us enough firepower to fend off AWS services so that we can push and recommend SAP Business Technology Platform in multiple aspects. We are at a disadvantage when it comes to DevOps. For example, Director/Company IT security is looking for tools that can be developed using infra as a code mechanism. SAP API Management vs. AWS API, we are lagging because we cannot really develop and integrate using DevOps. Then availability across multiple zones for event mesh. Quick turnaround on Chat in SAP support as these products are new, and when we have questions, if that is provided, I think we can take this forward in a much better way. We have 2 products on SAP store which were built using CAP. We use it to build multitenant apps as well. We use AFC for our clients as well. We use the Integration suite and other services on SAP Business Technology Platform.

we are service support and SAP partner. We manage customer 's SAP products technically along with database and also support upgrade and Migration projects. We have also done on premise ,neo migration as well to BTP. Also we use cockpit to manage HANA database ,backups , admin task , user access etc.

We use the SAP for maintaining and Tracking of Material stock & it's details. We also use to track the Process flow of any activity handling at site. We also use the SAP for billing and invoicing to the customer and Vendors. SAP is also used for material release, documentation, testing COA etc.

I use SAP Business Technology Platform for banking information with European partners.

SAP Business Technology Platform is an amazing product, everything can be provisioned on the cloud just in a few clicks, it saves money purchasing or leasing IT infrastructure. The tutorials and user guides provided by SAP are easy to read and implement in the SAP Business Technology Platform. Ex. SAP HANA Cloud (DBaaS) saved a lot of money to implement a DB for transactional and analytics environments, both capabilities are provided by this powerful DB found in SAP BTP.

We implement many scenarios for our customers.
